According to a company statement, the modernized platform is fully integrated into Quantum Systems' "MOSAIC UXS" unmanned systems ecosystem.
Designed with tactical autonomy in mind, the next-generation Reliant relies entirely on a European supply chain, free of Chinese-origin components and exempt from U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) restrictions. Quantum Systems stated that the primary objective behind the development was to expand the platform's mission spectrum while retaining its core advantages: rapid deployment, ease of operation, and minimal logistical overhead.

9 kg Payload Capacity and Hybrid-Electric Powertrain
Manufacturer data indicates that the upgraded Reliant is powered by a hybrid-electric propulsion system and capable of carrying payloads of up to 9 kilograms (19.8 lbs). This increased lift capacity enables multi-mission configurations, accommodating electro-optical (EO) sensors, laser target designators, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) suites, Electronic Warfare (EW) packages, satellite communication (SATCOM) relays, and communication nodes.
Featuring Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) capabilities, the hybrid aircraft operates independent of runway infrastructure, requiring a footprint of just 10x10 meters. Transportable by a two-person team and deployable within minutes, the platform requires only a single operator to execute missions. Due to its reduced logistical footprint, the Reliant can be deployed from both land-based mobile units and naval vessels.
