Having already established a strong presence in the country through field telephone exchanges used in the inventory of the Azerbaijani Land Forces and communication solutions utilized in military airfield tower systems, Karel aims to advance its partnerships in Azerbaijan through technology and knowledge sharing, joint production, the development of local industry, and engineering collaborations.

Carrying its 40 years of engineering expertise in communication technologies into the evolving needs of the defense sector, Karel combines its 5G Private Mobile Network (COM-BAT), In-Vehicle Integrated Communication Gateway (COM-LINE), and Operational Helmet Headset (MOBAT) solutions within its new architecture designed for land platforms. The company continues to advance its competencies in communication technologies with solutions tailored to the needs of civil, public, and military use cases.

The Integrated Tactical Communications approach aims to enable different communication and mission systems to operate within an integrated, secure, and centrally manageable structure in modern operational environments. Thus, it is designed to ensure seamless communication across disparate systems and meet operational field requirements through a single communication architecture.

At Karel's interactive experience area at the exhibition, visitors have the opportunity to closely examine how these systems work together, alongside the speed, flexibility, and operational capacity that 5G infrastructure brings to the tactical field.

In addition to integrated communication solutions for land platforms, Karel is also exhibiting its Standby Flight Display System (BFI) developed for air platforms and the AD103 Modular Alarm and Public Address System designed for naval platforms at ADEX 2026. Through this showcase, the company presents its engineering and system integration capabilities spanning land, air, and naval platforms all under one roof at ADEX.

Aiming to Advance Technology Cooperation in Azerbaijan

For Karel, Azerbaijan is not merely a market where new business opportunities are evaluated, but a country where its defense communication solutions are already actively deployed in the field. While Karel’s field exchanges are integrated into the inventory of the Azerbaijani Land Forces, the company’s solutions are also deployed in the tower communication systems of military airfields.

Moving forward, Karel aims to expand this existing cooperation into new technological domains, transforming it into a broader technology partnership encompassing technology and knowledge sharing, joint production, collaboration with local industry, and the enhancement of engineering competencies. Furthermore, the company aims to take part in the modernization efforts of the Azerbaijani Air Force’s SU-25 aircraft with its avionics systems.

At the core of Karel’s international growth strategy lies the commitment to combine its engineering and system integration capabilities with local needs, rather than merely offering products in its operating markets. Know-how sharing, technical support, local partnerships, and joint development models form the foundational pillars of this approach.

Viewing ADEX 2026 as a vital platform to enhance its existing relations in Azerbaijan, directly assess requirements for new collaborations, and introduce its integrated communication approach to regional decision-makers, Karel aims to strengthen its position in Azerbaijan as a long-term technology partner contributing to the local ecosystem.
