The live-fire and flight trials, attended by military delegations from 18 countries, marked the first time the ANTIDOT system was tested against live operational radar systems aboard the TB2 platform, validating real-time EW-SAR interoperability in a unified operational scenario.

Joint EW and SAR Live Operational Trials

During the flight demonstrations, two Bayraktar TB2 drones operated in tandem. One aircraft was equipped with the ANTIDOT 2ES 100 Electronic Support (ES) and ANTIDOT 2EA 200 Electronic Attack (EA) pods, while the second carried the FULMAR 200 SAR pod.

In the primary test scenario, the ES pod identified and geolocation-tracked a target threat radar, transmitting target parameters to enable an immediate electronic attack via the EA pod. This coordinated suppression allowed the platform to approach the target undetected.

In a secondary phase, target location data acquired by ANTIDOT was passed to the FULMAR 200 pod on the paired drone, which generated high-resolution SAR imagery for precise target verification. The combined trials validated target detection, electronic attack, and high-resolution imaging within a single operational cycle.

Technical Specifications and System Architecture

  • ANTIDOT 2ES 100 (Electronic Support): Designed to intercept, identify, record, and precisely locate threat air defense radar signals. The pod streams real-time tactical intelligence directly to the Ground Control Station (GCS) via the host aircraft's communications datalink.

  • ANTIDOT 2EA 200 (Electronic Warfare): A compact, low-power EW pod capable of detecting and analyzing enemy search and tracking radars. The fully autonomous system executes pre-loaded electronic attack techniques to blind or jam hostile air defense systems.

  • FULMAR 200 (Synthetic Aperture Radar): A lightweight, Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) SAR pod engineered for all-weather, day-and-night intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR). Featuring Spotlight and Stripmap operational modes, the pod mounts under the wing or fuselage alongside conventional Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) gimbals.
