The delegation, comprising 36 military attachés representing 32 countries—including the United States, the United Kingdom, and France—began the tour at the MKE Gazi Small Arms Ammunition Factory in Ankara. The facility produces over 250 million rounds of small arms ammunition annually, spanning 54 types across 10 different calibers.
Following the Ankara program, the delegation traveled to Kırıkkale to inspect MKE's Weapons Factory. Attachés were briefed on the development and manufacturing of domestically designed infantry and sniper rifles. During a live-fire demonstration at the factory's shooting range, members of the delegation conducted test firings with the MPT-55 assault rifle, engineered by Turkish defense personnel.
The tour concluded with a briefing at the MKE Ammunition Factory, where officials outlined the manufacturing processes for aircraft bombs as well as anti-aircraft, mortar, tank, and howitzer ammunitions ranging in caliber from 25 mm to 203 mm.
