Under the project, the Very Low Frequency (VLF) communication systems developed by ASELSAN were successfully integrated into the OTAM system. Thanks to the modernization of this critical infrastructure used by NATO to monitor VLF transmissions, the system's operational capability has been enhanced while establishing a more reliable, sustainable, and efficient communication infrastructure. As part of the integration efforts, system installation, verification, acceptance testing, and user training were successfully completed.
Carried out in close coordination with NATO authorities, the project fully met all technical and operational requirements, allowing the system to enter service ahead of schedule. With this modernization initiative, ASELSAN has contributed to enhancing NATO's maritime situational awareness, strengthening maritime security, and supporting defense and deterrence capabilities against maritime-borne threats.
The successfully completed project between ASELSAN and NCIA marks a significant milestone in bilateral cooperation, further reinforcing ASELSAN's position as a trusted solution partner within the NATO ecosystem. This achievement once again demonstrates ASELSAN's engineering competence in high-tech communication systems, its ability to comply with international standards, and its global competitiveness. Furthermore, this success serves as a strong reference for future collaborations and projects the company will undertake with NATO and other international organizations.
