S. Korea accidentally launches surface-to-air missile

A South Korean medium range surface-to-air missile system Cheolmae-2 was accidentally launched from an air base in Chuncheon , Gangwon-do Province, on Monday morning.
There are no casualties or property damage. The Air Force said it had immediately formed an investigation team to determine the cause of the accident and take follow-up measures.
Cheolmae-2, developed with Russian S-400 technology can intercept targets up to an altitude of 15 km.
Cheolmae-2 is a medium-range surface-to-air guided missile that can respond effectively to mid/high altitude aerial threats and developed by the Agency for Defense Development (ADD).
