Northrop Grumman receives a contract to support Navy’s MQ-4C Triton system

Northrop Grumman has received a $89,5 million contract to provide engineering and sustainment services for the U.S. Navy’s MQ-4C Triton unmanned aircraft systems.
Under the contract Northrop Grumman also will provide field service representatives, test support staff and logistics personnel for the sustainment of Triton vehicles, operator training systems and mission controls.
MQ-4C Triton is designed to help the Navy perform maritime intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions as well as signals intelligence, communications relay and search-and-rescue operations.
The work is expected to be completed in Maryland, Florida, California and Guam, in March 2020.
